ORCHARD
The orchards and fields near my home inspired the Orchard series. The area
is slowly opening up to new homes, but still shelters many centennial farms and orchards. L. Frank Baum writes in THE LAND OF OZ — “and to the east (of Chicago),
a green utopia, a mixed forest and farmland...there’s no place like home.”
